Obituary
John Acton,aged 84 years,of 421 Main street,Belle Vernon,died at his home,Wednesday May 12,1948,at 4 p.m. He was born in Scotland March 8,1863. He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Jessie Acton,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there Saturday,May 15,1948,at 2 p.m.,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
