Filomena Amoroso,aged 68 years,515 Washington avenue,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,March 19,1947,at 5 p.m. after a year's illness. Surviving are her husband,Gregorio Amoroso;four daughters,Mrs. Natalie Costantino of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Lumenia Jepson of Texas,Mrs. Mary Fedarko and Mrs. Anna Fontanelli of Belle Venon;six sons,William and Charles of Donora,Joseph of Colorado,Guido of Charleroi,Attilio and Dominic of Belle Vernon. A seventh son,George,was killed in action over Germany during the war. Also surviving are a brother, Michael Cavicchio and a sister,Mrs. Paul DiSantis in Italy and 15 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late residence until Saturday morning at 9 a.m. when funeral services will be conducted from St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Rev. Eugene Harkins officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director in charge.
