Obituary

Edward Baxter Armentrout,67,of Eighty Four R.D.2,North Bethlehem Township,died Tuesday,April 10,1945,at 5:30 p.m. in the Washington Hospital,following an operation. Mr.Armentrout had resided in North Bethlehem Township,where he was a farmer,for the past seven years,previously residing in Charleroi. He was born in West Virginia,Dec.22,1877,a son of the late James and Sennia Miller Armentrout. He is survived by his wife,Savanna Mae Armentrout,the following sons and daughters,Mrs.Bessie Bee,Pittsburgh,James Edward,Wellsburg,W.Va.,Mrs.James B.Hickle,Keyser,W.Va.,Mrs.Nellie Frances,Keyser,W.Va.,Robert,at home,Charles of Roscoe,Mrs.John Homer Martin,at home,and Mrs.Irene Morris,Brady,Tex.,four brothers,Ott and Charles,of Kline.W.Va.,Leon,of Flemington,W.Va.,and Ben,of Belington,W.Va.,a sister,Mrs.Rose Shreeves,Gormania,W.Va. Services will be held at the late home Saturday,April 14,1945,at 2 p.m. Rev.Frank S.Montgomery will have charge of services. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Jones and Thompson are funeral directors.
