Howard Allen,aged 84 years,died at 5:50 Wednesday morning,March 6,1935,at the home of his sister-in-law,Mrs.Robert F.Allen,who resides at the Allen Crossroad,R.F.D.,Belle Vernon. The deceased was born in Belle Vernon May 13,1852,and continued residing in that vicinity until the time of his death which resulted from complications. He was well known throughout the outlying district,and leaves a large number of friends to mourn him. He is survived by one sister,Lila Mae Allen,and three brothers,Theodore of Charleroi,George W.of Donora,and Arthur B.of Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.Friday and will be in charge of Rev.M.S.Spear of the Christian Church,Belle Vernon,and Rev. A.S. Gaffney of the Rehoboth Church in Rostaver Township.
