John Yarbrough Sr.,57,of Hill St.,Belle Vernon,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Thursday, Jan. 30,1969 at 6:15 p.m. after a short illness. Surviving ae his widow, Minnie;three daughters, Mrs. Mackie Carson of Monessen, Frances Nelson of Indianapolis, Ind. and Joyce Yarbrough of Pittsburgh; six sons,Tech.Sgt. Walter Nelson of Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane,Wash.,Staff Sgt. Robert Nelson at George Air Force Base in California,Lewis Nelson of Pontiac,Mich.,Sgt. Benjamin Nelson in the Azore Islands,Portugal,John W. Yarbrough,Jr. of Washington,D.C.and Lindsey Yarbrough at home; twenty-one grandchildren and one great-grandchild;a brother,Glen F. Yarbrough and a sister, Mrs. Irene Lytle,both of Indianapolis, Ind. Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen, after 7 p.m. Feb. 1. The remains will be received at the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon, Sunday at 4p.m. Funeral service will be held there Monday, Feb. 3,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. A.C. Morris,pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper is the funeral director.
