Samuel Yowonske of Belle Vernon R.D.3,a retired farmer, died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2,1960. He was 78. Mr. Yowonske had lived for the past several years at the home of a son, Walter of Belle Vernon. He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church,Monessen. He is sruvived by six sons, John, Samuel,Stephen and Walter, all of Belle Vernon and Joseph and Alex of Charleroi;two daughters, Mrs. Ann Keyock of Elizabeth and Mrs. Victoria Moran of Belle Vernon and 17 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Requiem High Mass will be held Friday,Aug. 5 at 9:15 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua R.C.Chruch,Monessen with the Rev. Andrew Parensky,pastor of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R. Toner is the funeral director.
