Charles H.Winship,Sr. (Chick),a resident of RD.1,Fayette City,died in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital at 4:30 a.m.on Wednesday,Oct.17,1973. He was born in Fayette City on Aug.4,1902,a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Hharris Winship. Surviving are his wife,Rose Shirley Winship;two sons,Charles H.Winship Jr.of Florida and Francis at home;one daughter,Mrs.John (Bertha) Bednar of Perryopolis;two brothers,Clarence of N.Charleroi and Robert of Independence,Mo.,and seven grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.from the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home with Elder Arthur Warner officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
