Funeral services will be held
Sunday;June 3;1973; in Belle Vernon for William
H. Williams; 84; of 302
Market St.; Belle Vernon; who
died Thursday;May 31;1973 at 6:20 a.m. in St.
Mary’s Hospital; Langhorne;
Pa. following a brief illness.
Mr. Williams; a resident of
Pricedale for over 50 years before
moving to Belle Vernon;
was visiting a son; Kenneth Williams
of Fairless Hills; when he
became ill at Easter. He had
been hospitalized since.
He was a company runner for
the 28th Division in World War
I; an elder emeritus of the
First Christian Church of Fayette
City; a member of the United
Mine Workers of America; a
member of the American Legion
Post 659 of Belle Vernon
and a member of the Charleroi
Barracks of World War I Veterans.
His wife; Jessie Anderson Williams;
died on April 29; 1972.
Survivors include two sons;
Kenneth E. of Fairless Hills;
and Donald G. Williams of Belle
Vernon R. D. 4; two grandsons;
one sister; Mrs. Hattie Wilt of
Donora; one half-sister; Mrs.
Beulah Hildebrand of Fayette
City; and three half-brothers;
Hillary; John and Fred Williams;
all of Mill Run; Pa.
Friends will be received at
the Harold R. Toner and Gerald
R. Essey Funeral Home of Belle
Vernon after 7 p.m. on Friday
and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
on Saturday;June 2;1973;where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m.on Sunday;June 3;1973 with the Rev.Bruce E.Smith;pastor of the First Christian Church of Fayette City and the Rev.John Bowers;pastor of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family requests that
contributions be made to the
Western Pennsylvania Heart Association in memory of Mr.Williams. Harold P.Toner and Gerald R.Essey;funeral directors in charge.
