Obituary

Arthur R. Wilderspin, 93, of 1015 Hill St., Belle Vernon, died Tuesday,March 28,1972, at 8:10 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was admitted on Monday. He retired 26 years ago from the former Pittsburgh Steel's Monessen Plant. Born in England, he was a Valley resident most of his life and formerly resided in Monessen. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Monessen, and the Fisherman's Class of its Sunday School. He also was a member of the American Gladiolus Society. Surviving are his widow, Isabella Vale Wilderspin, nephew and foster son, James V. Wilson of Monessen, nephews, Jack Wilson and Lee Wilson, both of Monessen, niece, Mrs. Lillian Brown of Keokuk, Iowa. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at the Rhome Funeral Home, Monessen,where a service will be held in the chapel Friday,March 31,1972,at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Edward H.Pollock Jr.pastor of the First Baptist Church,Monessen,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rhome funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
