Harry Weightman Sr.,68,of Pricedale,Rostraver Twp.,Democratic political leader,and constable,died Sunday, Aug. 1,1971 at 5:20 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Hospital. He was born in Hacketts, Pa.,a son of Thomas and Florence Lewis Weightman,and was a resident of Pricedale for the last 44 years. He was constable of Rostraver Twp.and had been Democratic chairman of Pricedale for over 30 years. He had been a custodian for the Rostraver School District for 30 years. He was a member of Pricedale Union Church. Surviving are his widow,Anna Gezzer Weightman;one son,Harry Jr.,of Sharon,Pa;one daughter,Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Turner of Greensburg;two brorthers,Thomas of Pricedale and Andrew of Pittsburgh;four sisters,Mrs. Margaret Harriet of Curry,Pa,Mrs. Jane McFall of Finleyville,Mrs. Martha Toal of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Florence Tyrone of Pittsburgh;three grandchildren and two great-granchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where a funeral service will be held Wednesday,Aug. 4 at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev. Howard Rodebaugh of the Pricedale Union Church, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
