Mrs. Wells was a member of
the First Christian Church;
Women’s Benefit Association;
Dames of Malta No. 263; Order
of Eastern Star Chapter 196
and Auxiliary to American Legion
Post 659; all of Belle Vernon.
Surviving are her husband;
Steward; a son; Curtis G. of
Belle Vernon; two daughters;
Mrs. William (Olive) Palfrey of
Belle Vernon; with whom she
made her home; and Mrs. Samuel
(Mabel) Stedman of Orlando;
Fla.; eleven grandchildren;
seventeen great – grandchildren
and one great-grandson.
Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.on Thursday. Service there Saturday;April 26;1969;with the Rev.John Bowers;pastor of the Belle Vernon’s First Baptist Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Dames of Malta No.263 will conduct services at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m.April 24. A service will be conducted;at the funeral home;at 1:30 p.m.April 24 by Belle Vernon Chapter 196;Order of Eastern Star. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
