Obituary

Ilanthe Anita Watson,58,of 331 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,Monday,Jan.29,1962 at 8:55 a.m. She was born Nov. 4,1902,in Uniontown,the daughter of Commodore and Elizabeth Hayden Watson. For 26 years she was employed by Corning Glass Works,Charleroi,and retired as a decorator in 1958.  She was a member of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church,the Regulars Sunday School Class,and the Woman's Association of the church. She was also a member of the Tuesday Evening Civic Club of Belle Vernon and the Lady Belle Rebekah Lodge,214. She had resided in Belle Vernon 49 years,moving here from Uniontown. She is survived by her parents,Mr.and Mrs. Commodore Watson,one brother,James Arnold at home,and a nephew,Carlton Watson,at home. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Services will be held there Thursday,Feb. 1,1962,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Dr. S. Arthur Talman.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D. Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
