Suzanne Pauliny Veres; 85;of 838 1/2 rear Shady Ave.;
Charleroi; died at her home on
Saturday;July 9;1977 at 8 p.m after a
short illness.
She was born in St Martin;
Czechoslovakia on June 8;1892; daughter of the late
Joseph and Anna Pales
Pauliny; and had lived in
Charleroi the past 70 years.
Mrs. Veres was a member
of St. John’s Lutheran Church;
Ladies Auxiliary of the Slovak
Club and Ladies Auxiliary of
the French Club; all of
Charleroi.
She was preceded in death
by her husband; Paul Veres;
on April 26; 1974; and by a son;
Paul; and a grandchild.
Surviving are one son;
Joseph P. Veres of Monessen;
three daughters; Mrs. John
(Mildred) Urbanik of Donora;
Mrs. George (Betty) Homme
of Bentleyville and Mrs.
Warren (Matilda) Ramsey of
Charleroi; four grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Friends are being received
at the Michael A. Melinchak
Funeral Home; Inc ; 826
Fallowfield Ave ; Charleroi;
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.at the funeral home with Dr.Stephen Hurnyak of St.John’s Lutheran Church;Charleroi;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Michael A. Melinchak is funeral director in charge.
