Maggie Valdiserri;81;of 514 Bluff St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 9;1975; at 12:24 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Italy on June 12;1893;and had lived in Belle Vernon the past 75 years. Mrs.Valdiserri was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Anita Garibaldi Society and the Defense Club;all of Belle Vernon;and the Giuseppina Verdi Lodge of the Sons of Italy;Charleroi. Her husband;John Valdiserri;preceded her in death in January;1956. Surviving are two sons;Leo L.Valdiserri of Fayette City R.D.1 and Cleo F.Valdiserri of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Frank (Eleanor) Negleman of Pekin;Ill.;one brother;Thomas Meacci of Belle Vernon;four sisters;Mrs.Sylvia Bartolozzi;Irene Meacci;Mrs.Marion (Neva) Evans and Mrs.Dale (Evelyn) Jenkins;all of Belle Vernon;five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
