Lawrence Teano;a former member of Belle Vernon Borough Council;died suddenly Sunday;March 16;1975;at 3:05 p.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was 63. Mr.Teano;a resident of Belle Vernon most of his life;had resided at 237 Main St.;Belle Vernon. Born April 22;1911;in Shinnston;W.Va.;he was a son of the late John and Flora Accquinta Teano. Mr.Teano was a barber by trade and operated a shop at 235 Main St.;Belle Vernon;for many years. Mr.Teano was a member of St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon;and Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. He also belonged to Fayette County Firemen’s Association and the Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association. Surviving are two brothers;Sam Teano and Sylvester (Babe) Teano;both of Belle Vernon;and two sisters;Mrs.Theresa Oliver and Mrs.Pasquelina Stankovics;both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.on Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.on Tuesday at the Toner-Essey Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.at St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
