Leola F.Tartt;51;of 827 Meldon Ave.;Donora;died Thursday morning;Dec.16;1971;at 4 o’clock in Monongahela Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born Nov.19;1920;in Alcoa;Tenn.;but was a resident of Donora most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church;Donora. Her husband;Cecil Tartt Sr.;preceded her in death in March of this year. Surviving are six sons;Cecil Tartt Jr.;Dane;Irving;Edward;Frankie and George;all at home;two daughters;Joyce Ann Walters of Elizabeth and Valetta at home;five sisters;Mrs.Lillian Thomas of Donora;Mrs.Mamie Lee Pickett of Cincinnati;Ohio;Ruth Ellis of Donora;Mrs.Mary Harris of Haverstraw;N.Y.;four brothers;George Ellis and Robert Ellis of Donora;William Ellis of Cleveland;Ohio and Edward Ellis of Clairton;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Law Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora;after 7 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held Monday;Dec.20;1971;at 11 a.m.in the First Baptist Church;Donora;with the Rev.John E.Washington officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
