Marie Turnipseed of 613 Locust Ave.;Monessen;died Thursday;Nov.20;1969 at 2:05 a.m.in Monongahela Memorial Hospital;after a short illness. Mrs.Turnipseed was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Monessen;serving as missionary and a member of the Circle of Ruth and a Mother of the Church. Survivors include her husband;Thomas;three sons;Cornelius O’Bain;Robert Garry and Claude Garry all of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Clyde (Annie) Marshall of Steubenville;Ohio and Mrs.William (Lillian) Bronson of Monessen;one brother;Sidney McClelland;several nieces and nephews;19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m.on Friday. Funeral services will be held on Monday from the United Baptist Church at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Clyde A.Roston in charge. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
