Zelinda Fini Sabatini,87,of 123 Lynnwood Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Dec. 9,1977 at 6:50 p.pm. in the Charleroi Division of the Mon Valley Hospital. Mrs.Sabatini was born in Italy on Feb. 11,1890,and had been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1908. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and Anita Garibaldi Society,both of Belle Vernon,the D.B.A. and the Guiseppina Verdi Society No.1056,both of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Sabatini, in 1955 and by a son, Nello Sabatini, in 1965. Survivors include one son, Oscar Sabatini of Belle Vernon: one daughter, Mrs. G.M. (Nell) DeWoody of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.on Sunday. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Monday,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director in charge.
