He was a former resident of Monessen. Mr.Smith was born Feb.17;1941 in Monessen;where he was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are his mother;Mrs.Thelma Majors of Monessen;three brothers;Ronald Smith of Belle Vernon;with whom he made his home;Leroy Majors Jr.and Percy Majors;both of Monessen;and nine sisters;Mary Louise Majors of Philadelphia;Elizabeth Ann Majors;Beverly Majors;Susie Majors;Cheryl Majors;Hilda Majors;Alice Jean Majors and Ida Lavina Majors;all of Monessen;and Mmrs.Cora Jones of Richmond;Calif.and his maternal grandmother;Mrs.Cora Smith of Monessen. Friends will be received in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home in Monessen from 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday;Sept.14 and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday;Sept.15. Services will be held Thursday;Sept.16 at 11 a.m.in Fellowship Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.W.J.Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
