Mrs. Christina Swesty,88,of Daisytown R.D.1,died Tuesday, Aug. 17,1976,at 1 p.m. at her home. She was born Jan.19,1888 in Austria,the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Spock Kalko. Mrs. Swesty was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon. Her husband, Frank,preceded her in death in 1961. Surviving are two sons, Charles Swesty,with whom she resided,and Anthony Swesty of Columbus, Ohio;five daughters, Mrs. Helen Ernshaw of Haines,Alaska,Mary Swesty of New York City,Mrs. Mildred Graziano of Pittsburgh,Mrs. Georgia Tutich of Castle Shannon and Mrs. Sylvia Stachia of Monessen;one brother and two sisters in Europe;ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Main St.,Fayette City,after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held Friday,Aug. 20,1976 at 9 a.m. at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon with Fr. John Kluchko as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
