Margaret Kirkpatrick Savarino;76;of Valley Manor;Monessen;died Saturday;May 8;1976;at 1:30 p.m.in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Mrs.Savarino was born Aug.23;1899 in Smithton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church;Senior Citizens and the American Legion Auxiliary;all of Monessen and the Auxiliary of the World War I Barracks No.350 where she served as vice president. She was preceded in death by her husband;Samuel Savarino in 1966. Survivors include one son;Robert Savarino of Orlando;Fla.;and three sisters;Mrs.Helen Libengood of Donora;Mrs.Clara Harter of Monessen and Mrs.Frances Mosier of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home in Monessen from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m.Monday;May 10. Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday;May 11;at 11 a.m.;with the Rev.Howard E.Kennedy;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Monessen;officiating.
