She was born in Whitehouse;Pa.on March 6;1910;a daughter of Elmer and Alma Baldwin Finley. Mrs.Shives had lived in Ohio the past 18 years and prior to that had resided in Fredericktown. She is survived by her husband;Chauncey Shives;two daughters;Mrs.Chloe Roule of Sagamore Hills;Ohio and Mrs.Sally Ramseck of Centerville;Ohio;one brother;Willard Finley of Finleyville;one sister;Mrs.Thomas (Ruth) Gilchrist Sr.of Belle Vernon;and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Johnson Funeral Home in Northfield;Ohio;from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday and then at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.on Thursday. Graveside services will be held at Belle Vernon Cemetery on Friday at 9:30 a.m.with Pastor R.Dawson Hopson of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
