She was born in Austria-
Hungary on June 3; 1886 and
had lived in Belle Vernon most
of her life.
Mrs. Soroka was a member
of Holy Resurrection
Orthodox Church in Lynnwood.
She was preceded in death
by her husband; John; in 1942;
two daughters; Mrs. Ann
Mattia; in 1969; and Mrs.
Mary Dunlevich; in 1972; and
by a son; Nick; in 1973.
Surviving are four sons;
Mike Soroka of Belle Vernon;
Pete Soroka of Finleyville;
Steve Soroka of Sayre; and
Paul Soroka of Brownsville;
and 16 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Gerald R. Essey Funeral
Home; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle
Vernon; from 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Family and friends will meet at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Lynnwood;on Saturday at 1 p.m.for services to be conducted by the Rev.John Kluchko;pastor. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Gerald R.Essey is funeral director in charge.
