Obituary

Mrs.Mary Sellaro,66,of 80 Pacific Blvd.,Monessen,died Thursday,June 12,1975,at 7:30 a.m.in the University Hospital in Morgantown,W.Va.,from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 51 on June 1. Mrs.Sellaro was born Oct.18,1908,in Shinnston,W.Va.,the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Laurie and had been a resident of the Belle Vernon-Monessen area for the past 48 years. She was preceded in death by two brothers,Joseph and Samuel Laurie and one sister,Catherine Gumont. Mrs.Sellaro was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Anita Garibaldi Lodge of Belle Vernon. Survivors include her husband,William Sellaro,one son,Samuel Sellaro of Fellsburg,one daughter,Mrs.George L.(Babe) Fleming Jr.of Monongahela R.D.2,three grandchildren,four sisters,Mrs.Edward (Sue) Thomas,Mrs.William (Eva) Smith,Mrs.Virginia Johnson and Mrs.Herald (Lucille) Edmonds,all of Morgantown,W.VA.,and four brothers,Tony,Frank,John and Louis Laurie,all of Morgantown,W.Va.Friends will be received in the Toner-Essey Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 2 until 4 p.m.and 7 until 9 p.m.on Saturday and Sunday,June 14 and 15,1975 where a blessing service will be held on Monday June 16,1975 at 10:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.in St.Sebstian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Toner-Essey funeral directors in charge.
