Henry C.Smith;78;of 715 Washington Ave.;Charleroi;died at his home on Saturday;Jan.25;1975;at 6:30 a.m. Born in Staunton;Va.;on Nov.30;1896;he was a son of the late Elijah and Elizabeth Stewart Smith. Mr.Smith was a retired custodian;having worked at Mellon Bank in Charleroi. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Several nieces and nephews survive. Friends will be received at the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Edward Ford officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L.Schrock is funeral director in charge.
