Obituary

Mrs.Mae Elizabeth Guiler Steinman of 46 Penn St.,Washington,died Saturday April 21,1973,in the extended care facility at Washington Hospital. Born in Belle Vernon,she was a daughter of the late Edwin S.and Elizabeth Croushore Guiler McKane. A resident of Washington since 1927,Mrs.Steinman attended North Belle Vernon schools and was a graduate of Seton Hill College. She was also an active member of the Church of the Covenant,Washington. She was a member of the Martha Paul Chapter 404,Order of the Eastern Star,Bethesda Shrine No.25,White Shrine of Jerusalem,Martha Washington Court No.31,Order of Amarandh. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Surviving are her husbane,Harry W.,one daughter,Mrs.Thomas V.(Lauretta) Wainwright of Center Valley,one brother,Carl E.Guller of Mattituck,Long Island,N.Y.,two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday at the Richard H.Pratt Funeral Home,130 East Wheeling St.,Washington,and from 1 to 2 p.m.at the Church of the Covenant,Washington. Services will be held at 2 p.m.Tuesday at the church with the Rev.Alan Hagenbuch,pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family requests contributions be made to the Church of the Covenant Memorial Fund. Richard M.Pratt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
