Richard Stevenson Jr.;68;of 521 Schoonmaker Ave.;Monessen;died Wednesday;June 30;1971;at 11:20 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;where he had been admitted at 11 a.m.yesterday. Mr.Stevenson was born in Lonaconing;Md.;the son of the late Richard and Fannie Healey Stevenson. He was also preceded in death by a brother;George;of Braddock. Mr.Stevenson retired in 1963 as a shearman at the Irvin Works of U.S.Steel Corp. He was a member of Monessen Eagles 2399. He is survived by a sister;Mrs.Harry (Martha) Hornbecker of Huntingdon;Pa.;and a brother;Jack G.Stevenson of Monessen. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;where a service will be held in the chapel Saturday;July 3;at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Vernon W.McDormand;pastor of the First Christian Church;officiating.
