Obituary

Mrs.Anna May Smith,82,of 139 Eighth Ave.,Pittsburgh,died Tuesday,March 10,1970,at 10:45 p.m. Born in Fayette City,she had lived in Pittsburgh five years,formerly being a resident of Knox and Fairhope. Mrs.Smith was a member of Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pittsburgh. Her husband,William Russell Smith,died in 1958. Surviving are two sons,Russell of Monessen and George of Bethel,a daughter,Mrs.Joseph (Della) Kist of Pittsburgh,with whom she made her home,three brothers,Harry Anderson of Lowber,Howard Anderson of Canton,Ohio,Charles Anderson of McKeesport,four sisters,Mrs.Elizabeth Berthold of Knox,Mrs.Lillian Sisley of Toronto,Ohio,Mrs.Orthelia Rankin and Mrs.Florence White of Belle Vernon,four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. March 11. Service there Friday,March 13,at 1:30 p.m. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
