George Sakalik;57;of 504 Perry Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Jan.12;1970;in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 2:35 p.m.after an apparent heart attack. Mr.Sakalik was a maintenance man for Belle Vernon Area School District. He was born in Webster. Surviving are his widow;Lena Kovatch Sakalik;a daughter;Mrs.Dennis (Joan) Houseman of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;a brother;John of Belle Vernon R.D.2;two sisters;Mrs.John (Mary) Dolola of Romlus;Mich.;and Mrs.Charles W.(Anna) Smoody of Pricedale;several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Jan.14 at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Jan.15.
