Mrs. Violetta E. Simpson, 73,of Charleroi R.D.1,died Friday, Oct. 24,1969 of an apparent heart attack. She was dead on arrival at the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was born in Belle Vernon,Aug. 28,1898,the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Davis. Her husband, Jesse G. Simpson died April,1969. Survivors are one brother, James Roy Davis Sr. of Charleroi;one aunt,Mrs. Minnie Thompson of Brownsville and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday,2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home,Monday at 1 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. Robert Dye of Monongahela. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
