Born in Washington Twp.;Fayette County Feb.1;1906;he was the son of the late Oscar and Olga Kalmi Sands. Nr;Sands was a member of Fairhope Rod and Gun Club and was a retired employee of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow;Stella Daniels Sands;three daughters;Mrs.Adolph (Shirley) Conte and Mrs.Raymond (Sandra) Ambrose;both of Belle Vernon;Dorothy Sands at home;four sisters;Mrs.John (Vilma) Mackey of Fairhope;Mrs.Felix (Irene) Daniels of Lynnwood;Mrs.Helen Culpepper of Portsmouth;Va.;Jane Sands at home;seven grandchildren.
