Edmund B.Schilling Jr.;12;of Gillespie;was fatally injured when struck by a vehicle while helping his brother;Keith;deliver newspapers in the Gillespie area. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 5:15 p.m. Death was attributed to a skull fracture and broken neck. He was the son of Mr.and Mrs.Edmund Schilling Sr.;formerly of Monessen. Born Dec.11;1956;he was a sixth grade student at Marion Elementary School in Fairhope. He was a Little League baseball player. Besides his parents and brother;Keith;he is survived by his paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Richard W.Schilling;and maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Joseph Karbowsky;Monessen. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. March 5 at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home;Monessen. Blessing service there Friday;March 7;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Leonard R.C.church;Monessen;at 10 a.m. The Rev.Regis Hickey;pastor;will be celebrant.
