Richard Steward, 66,of 143 Highland Terrace,Donora,died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1969 in Presbyterian Hospital,Pittsburgh after a lingering illness. Mr. Steward was born June 25,1902 in Greensboro, N.C. He lived in Donora for the past 45 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Baptist Church,Donora. Preceding him in death was his wife Stella in 1961. Survivors include two daughters,Mrs. Jannie Lee Johnson of Donora and Mrs Marian Dow of Baltimore, Md.,a brother,Sandy of Stoney Creek,N.C. and 12 grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Thursday,Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Baptist Church,Donora with Rev. W. E. McBrayer in charge. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Law Funeral Home is in charge.
