A former Belle Vernon resident, Mrs. Elsie H. Sale, 84, who was making her home with a daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Sale of Baltimore, Md., died Saturday at 11:20 a.m. in Union Memorial Hospital at Baltimore after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late John and Mattie Houseman. Preceding her in death were two sons, John and Willard Sale. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Margaret) Mclntosh of Houston, Tex., and Catherine Sale of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Tuesday,Nov. 19,at 10 a.m.with the Rev.John Bowers,pastor of First Christian Church in Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.
