Mr.Sobek;who was born in Poland on Dec.20;1885;was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City and Polish National Alliance Lodge 976 of Arnold City. A retired employee of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.;he is survived by his widow;Mary;four sons;Joseph and Ted of Fayette City;Lawrence and Carl of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Anthony (Ann) Semancik of Fayette City and Mrs.Anthony (Stella) Errigo of Garfield;N.J.;two brothers Stanley of Grindstone and Joseph in Poland;three sisters in Poland and ten grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where Prayer will take place on Monday;Sept.9;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;at 10 a.m. The Rev.Joseph Tamikowski;pastor;will officiate.
