William Robert Smith,68,of 656 Third st.,.Monessen,died Sunday Feb. 4,1968 at 8:35 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired employee of the P. & L.E. Railroad. Surviving are his widow, Mary and a sister, Mrs. Maggie Lewis of Wayne, Mich. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen. Service at the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8,with Dr. R.A. Latimer,pastor of Wayman A.M.E. Church,Monessen, officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C Draper is the funeral director.
