Obituary

Daniel Theodore Simpson,56,of 109 First St.,Charleroi,died Friday,Feb.5,1965,at 8:45 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in North Charleroi,Nov.4,1908,Mr.Simpson was a plasterer by trade. He was a graduate of Monessen High School and a member of First Christian Church,Charleroi. Surviving are a son,William F.Simpson,Burbank,Calif.,two daughters,Mrs.James (Marlene) Lender,Ruffsdale and Mrs.Carmen (Sherry Rae) Brusco,West Mifflin,his mother,Mrs.Maryan Simpson,North Charleroi,two sisters,Mrs.William Parsons,Clairton and Mrs.David McCuen,Speers and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father,William Henry Simpson in 1944. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home,825 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi after 7 p.m.Saturday,Feb.6. Funeral home visiting hours on Sunday,Feb.7 will be 12 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Monday,Feb.8,at 2 p.m.from the funeral home,with the Rev.W.S.VanArsdale,pastor of First Christian Church,Charleroi,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Michael A.Melinchak,funeral director.
