Service from the funeral chapel at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral home in Monesse was held Monday,Mrch 23,1961 at 11 a.m. for Denise Janet Smith,four-year-old daughter of Mr.and Mrs. James T. Smith of Wilson St.,North Charleroi,who died suddenly at 5 a.m. Saturday,March 21,1961 at the Pry Home for Children at West Sunberry,Pa. Surviving besides her parents are two sisters,a twin,Delboak Janet,and Toni Elaine,and a brother,James T.,Jr.all at home;maternal grandparents,Mr.and Mrs. James A. Woods of Connellsville;paternal grandparents,Mr.and Mrs. Robert Madison of North Charleroi.The Rev. E.W. Demps,pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Lock 4,officiated at the funeral service. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
