William Sopsic;47;of Fayette City R.D.1 died suddenly at his late home Thursday;Oct.10;1963;at 4:30 o’clock of heart failure. Mr.Sopsic was born in Washington Twp.;Fayette County;on July 3;1916. A steel mill laborer;he was a member of St.Edward’s R.C.Church of Fayette City and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are two sons;William Jr.and Raymond;both at home;his father;Pete;Sr.of Fairhope;two brothers;George Kowasic of Fayette City R.D.1;and Pete Sopsic Jr.;of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mrs.John (Mary) Jarsulic;and Mrs.Steve (Katheryn) Misher;both of Fayette City R.D.1;and Mrs.Frances Vernaccini of Washington;D.C. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Prayer there Saturday;Oct.12.;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Edward’s R.C.Chruch;Fayette City. The Rev.Elmer Kacinko will act as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory;Funeral director.
