Bess E. Springer, who was born and reared in Belle Vernon, died Friday,February 1,1963, at the Oddfellows Home for Widows and Orphans, Pittsburgh, where she was housemother. Born June 25, 1896, a daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah Gray Springer, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon. Surviving are a brother, Robert G. Springer of West Newton and a nephew, Joseph Cameron of Greensburg. Friends are being received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Monday,Feb.4,at 2 p.m.with Rev. S. Arthur Talman,pastor of First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert S. Landymore Funeral Home,Dawson,funeral director.
