Services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Alice Gertrude Smith,59,of 307 Sixth St.,Hiller,who died Tuesday Jan. 15,1963 in Brownsville Hospital. Survivors include nine daughters,Mrs. Geraldine H. Hughes, of Brooklyn,N.Y.,Mrs. Irma Smith,of San Francisco, Calif.,Mrs. Gloria Robinson,of Pittsburgh,Mrs. Catherine Chick and Mrs. Claudette Barber,both of Los Angeles, Calif.,Mrs. Marcella Pugh and Mrs. Valeria Grooms,both of Daisytown,Mrs. Veronica Smith of Hiller,and Carmella Smith,at home; three sons,Walter L. Jr.and Robert R..both of Pittsburgh,and Sylverne Stallsworth,stationed with the Air Force in Delaware; 29 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Law Funeral Home,Brownsville,afer 4 o'clock Friday afternoon,with the body to be removed Saturday to Mt. Zion Baptist Church,Daisytown,where it will be viewed from 11 a.m. until 1p.m.,the hour of service. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetey.
