Surviving are a son;John D.at home;four daughters;Mrs.James (Dorothy) Steffey of West Newton;Mrs.William (Thelma) McNeil of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Thomas (June) Leone of Monessen;Mrs.Dale (Betty) Williams of Gibsonton;one brother;Ben of Warner;Va;;three sisters;Mrs.Belle Wineland of Bentleyville;Mrs.Susan Wineland of Logan;W.Va.;and Mrs.Edna Booth of Roanoke;Va.;eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m. Oct.18. Visiting hours will then be 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services at the funeral home Saturday;Oct.20;at 2 p.m.with the Rev.E.W.Lighthall;pastor of the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;in charge.
