Harry O. Shaw,64, formerly of Fourth St.,Monessen, died Thursday, October 4,1962,at 5:15 p.m. after a lingering illness of four years. Born in Buena Vista,Pa.,Mr. Shaw had lived in Monessen since 1916. He was employed at the Monessen plant of Pttsburgh Steel Co. until his retirement five years ago. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Monessen. His brother, J. Hunter Shaw, preceded him in death in March,1961. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lucille Shaw of Monessen; three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Marion) Bell of Greensburg, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Rajala and Cathy Shaw of Monessen; two sons, William of Charleroi and Russell of Chicago, Ill.; fourteen grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Willow McGowan of Baltimore, Md.,Mrs. Mary Robinson of Hiller, Pa.,Mrs. Lucy Hunt and Margaret Shaw of Monessen. Friends are being received at the H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home,Monessen,where funeral services will be held Monday,Oct. 8, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Willis Backer will officiate.
