Charles Edward Snyder;85;of 421 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died at his home on Friday;Jan.12;1962 at 8 a.m. He was born in Perryopolis on Feb.29;1876. He moved to Belle Vernon from Perryopolis sixty years ago;and retired twenty years ago from his occupation as a railroader. He is survived by his widow;Mrs.Eva Lewis Snyder;one son;Edward of Belle Vernon;a daughter;Mrs.Roy (Ethel) Whitelaw of Belle Vernon;one brother;Harry Snyder;four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 7 p.m.on Saturday;Jan.13.
