Harris N. Spencer,35,of 1212 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen,died Friday,Dec.11,1959 at 11:45 a.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial after a short illness. Mr. Spencer was born in Monessen April 27,1925 and had lived his entire lifetime in this community. He was employed in the open hearth department of Pittsburgh Steel Co.,Monessen and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Anna Jean;a brother,Bill of Washington,Pa;and a niece, Clementine Spencer of New York City. Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen after 7 o'clock, Dec. 12. Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday,Dec. 14,at 11 a.m. from Mt.Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen with the Rev. E. Archie officiating.
