Michael J.Stonfer;53;of Newell;died Monday;Nov.11;1957;at 11:45 p.m.in the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born Aug.29;1904;in Newell;the son of the late John and Mary Orsega Stonfer. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help E.C.Church;Newell;the Loyal Order of Moose 269;Newell;the Santa Barbara Club;Newell;the Fraternal Order of Eagles 390;Charleroi;and was a car inspector for the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Anna Reho Stonfer;one son;Michael Jr.;one daughter;Mrs.Hamilton Lynn Jr.;Belle Vernon R.D.3;three brothers;Jack of Speers;Louis of Newell;and Joseph with the U.S.Army at Fort Benning.Ga.;two sisters;Mrs.Alex (Mary) Ferguson;California and Mrs.John (Margaret) Fudutes;Newell. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Prayer there Friday;November 15;at 8:15 a.m.;will be followed by additional rites at 9 a.m.;in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church;Newell;in charge of Rev.A.J.Shay. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
