Clyde C. Sickles, 69,of 405 Reed avenue, Monessen,died at his home, Tuesday, November 10,1953,at 5:05 a.m. He had been a member of the First Christian Church of Monessen for forty years,and served that congregation as a Deacon and member of the official board. He was self-employed as a paper hanger. He is survived by his wife,Margaret Jones Sickles and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the late home until Friday,November 13,1953,at 12 o'clock noon,when the body will be taken to the First Christian Church of Monessen for services at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Vernon Bowers will have charge of services. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
