illness.
Born in Fayette City on Oct.
9; 1893; he was a son of the lale
James and Mary Vaughn Rex.
Mr. Rex was a veteran of
World War I and belonged to
Friendship Barracks 2819;
World War I Veterans;
Monongahela.
He attended Ihe Church of
the Nazarene at Belle Vernon
and was a charter member of
the Fayette City Volunteer
Fire Company.
He was a retired employe of
Ihe Allenporl Plant of
Wheelng-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp.
Surviving are his widow;
Alice White Rex; one son;
Edward C. Rex of Belle
Vernon; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends wil be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 2 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Kenneth E.Neiderhiser of the Church of the Nazarene;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Friendship Barracks 2819 of World War I Veterans;Monongahela;will conduct services on Thursday at 2 p.m.at the funeral home. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director in charge.
