Graveside services were
held Monday morning;May 9;1977; in Belle
Vernon Cemetery for Alfred S.
Russell of Pittsburgh; a former Monessen resident; who
died Thursday;May 5;1977; in Pittsburgh of
a heart attack.
Mr. Russell was born May 8;
1907; a son of the late Samuel
and Martha Sturm Russell.
He was a former employee of
Wheeling – Pittsburgh Steel
Corp ‘s Monessen Plant.
Survivors include two
daughters; two half-sisters;
and one half-brother.
Rev. Howard F. Kennedy of
the First United Methodist
Church; Monessen; conducted
the services.
