Obituary

Mario Alfred Rocchino,59,of 713 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,owner of Rocchino Cleaners,died Monday,Aug.9,1976 at 5:58 p.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born March 15,1917 in Italy,the son of the late Saverio Rocchino,who died in 1963,and Vittoria Ganino Rocchino of Italy,who survives. Mr. Rocchino served in World War II and was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. He was in the dry cleaning and tailoring business for 37 years,starting out on Belle Vernon's Main St.and moving to 420 Broad Ave,in 1951 and 719 Broad Ave.,in 1963. Besides his mother,he is survived by his widow,Rose Apicella Rocchino,two daughters,Elaine,at home and Mrs.Hector (Lillian) Rodriguez of Cookesville,Tenn.,one son,Jonathan Paul Rocchino at home,two brothers,Joseph Rocchino of Belle Vernon and Aldo Rocchino of Italy,and two sisters,Mrs.Felica Ciranni and Mrs.Lolita Vaccaro,both of Italy. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Tuesday from 7 to 9:30 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A Blessing service will be held Thursday Aug.12,1976 at 9:30 a.m.at the funeral home,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish Rosary will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m.at the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
